Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try again. Fail again. Fail better ~ Samuel Beckett
I’m Nishant. I code for a living — and occasionally rewrite/refactor it because I can’t resist making things faster, cleaner, or just a bit better.
I’ve been doing this for 10+ years, which in internet time means I’ve survived multiple JavaScript frameworks, design trends, integration patterns and at least one era where everyone wanted everything built in jQuery. I’m still here. The code is better and beverages are healthier.
I didn’t get into coding because I dreamed of writing JavaScript as a kid. I got into coding because my brother couldn’t find good developers and decided the most reliable solution was… me.
His logic was simple: “If you learn to code, it will benefit me greatly.” Shockingly, he was right.
What started as “just help me with this one thing” turned into a career where I now build production systems used by thousands of people every day, handle millions of requests, and occasionally explain why “just a small change” isn’t actually small.
Today, I design and build fast, modern and scalable web applications. I work across the full stack and focus on building systems that are easy to use, easy to maintain, and calm to run in production.
I’ve worked with small businesses, startups, and large teams — which means I’m equally comfortable wearing all the hats or working within established processes with real documentation and real deadlines.
When I’m not coding, you’ll probably find me watching cricket and confidently analysing strategies I would absolutely fail at executing, exploring food like it’s a research project, or watching K-dramas and Netflix “for one episode” that somehow turns into five.
I also enjoy history — usually starting with a simple question and ending several tabs later wondering how I got there. I think curiosity helps. Good developers tend to ask questions, notice details, and occasionally fall down interesting rabbit holes.
I’m easy to work with, honest about trade-offs, and allergic to unnecessary complexity. I don’t disappear, I don’t overpromise, and I take pride in shipping work that future-me (and future-you) won’t hate.
Whether you’re a remote team looking for a senior developer you can trust or a business needing a modern upgrade or a startup building something new — I bring experience, calm problem-solving, and a long-term mindset.
If you’re looking to build something solid—or just want to talk tech, food, cricket, or that JavaScript bug that ruined your week — let’s connect.
